  • In order to get a t-shirt with your registration, you MUST REGISTER by August 22nd, no exceptions. We must be efficient with our shirt order so we can give more to our charities, thus the early deadline.
  • Packet Pick-up is Saturday, September 6th from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sunset Honda, 12250 Los Osos Valley Rd., San Luis Obispo. Bring a little extra money and have a delicious Tri-Tip Lunch and some beer from Central Coast Brewing, all the proceeds from the lunch will go to our charities.
  • We close the downtown corridor roads starting at 4 a.m. for the races. Road Closure information is posted on the Road Closure Page. Please review to see if you or your business is affected.
  • This is a family-friendly event for everyone!!! Every level athlete welcome!! First-timers are welcome!! Walkers are welcome!!! Strollers are welcome!!

  • The Hope & Healing Ceremony where we remember those we’ve lost and honor our cancer survivors and patients will take place after the races, approximately 10:15 a.m. We hope you will join us to support our survivors and for some inspiration.
  • Aside from the SLO Marathon, this is the only opportunity to run/walk on closed downtown SLO Streets!! Plus, the distances are shorter, walkers are welcome!! We’ve added a children’s “Rock Around the Block” race where your child can dress up as their favorite Rock Star. The Monterey Mile will have competitive heats, as well as a family mile where all are welcome – individuals and family!

The money we have raised with this race, $40,000 thus far, has helped many through their cancer journey, whether providing a free fitness program, gas money to get to an appointment or counseling. We won’t stop raising awareness and money, because we are dedicated and determined to make a difference. Help us support these 3 worthy causes this year:

  • Hearst Cancer Resource Center at French Hospital Medical Center
  • Cancer Well-fit
  • The Maureen “Mo” Clancy Memorial Track Scholarship
  • Learn more and/or donate to one of our beneficiaries on their page on this website.
